Oiseau
Bleu, the new sailing yacht concept from Sylvian Viau of SV Design with
the top deck outfitted with high performance gear, comfortable cabins
and the saloons located inside her spacious design is promising to give a
real sailing experience to the future owner.
Even though she look s simple from the performance point of view, her
design is more complicated than thought. Her ‘dynamic’ hull uses a deep
hard chine to create a hydrodynamic lift to help upwind sailing. The
forward top deck is dedicated to anchoring purposes with the Furler
fitted for the Genoa. Sun area is offered by the Middle deck, together
with winches and a piano at the foot of the mast.
The aft deck was designed for sailors, with helm, winches for main sails and Genoa, and a small deck saloon under the mizzen. The Owner’s Suite is fitted with panoramic portholes on the sides and top windows forward to offer the sailing yacht a feeling of natural light.
The main deck of the Oiseau Bleu offers a sun area, which can also be used as a storage for tenders. The galley and wardroom are sheltered under the aft superstructure. There are three stairwells that lead to the top deck with one each side giving access to inside the ‘deck house’ in front of the helms.
The interesting designed of this sailing yacht Oiseau Bleu, gives and impression of contemporary comfort with the handling and performance of a high quality sailing yacht.
